DINSART is an association formed by art therapists and creative therapists, who are all members of ATE (Professional Association of Art Therapists in Spain). The association is based in Barcelona and offers different levels of intervention ranging from assistance to training.

Art therapy is a profession which works to provide assistance through the use of artistic mediums to facilitate communication and conflict resolution.

The DINSART team is multidisciplinary and is formed by people who are specialised in the use of art as a tool for transformation and development within vulnerable and disadvantaged sectors of society. We work in the following areas:

Social Level – we work with vulnerable groups facing situations of social exclusion and/or social fragmentation. Through our interventions, we promote social cohesion and reconciliation.

Health Level – we work with people suffering from mental or physical disabilities. We also offer emotional support in mental health and palliative care. This includes support for family members and primary carers.

Educational Level – we offer therapeutic accompaniment to children and adolescents with learning difficulties within the school environment.
